How we are helping.

Enabling remote working

Over the past few weeks we have been helping many clients set up greater remote working capability. This has included implementing remote desktop solutions, maximising the capability of existing cloud services such as Microsoft Teams, which is currently available on a one-year trial; and activating VOIP solutions to replace or run alongside existing phone solutions.

We have also been pre-purchasing business-grade laptops to help ease supply issues and enable clients to adapt to the changes quickly. We are currently able to continue to meet the additional demands for these services.

Out of hours support at no additional charge

To further help our clients during this unprecedented time and until further notice, we are offering all Trident support clients access to out-of-hours remote services at no additional monthly cost.  This could entail anything from straightforward assistance with setting up remote users to undertaking emergency work as required.

How it is affecting Trident.

General sales and account management

The majority of the Trident team are working remotely from home. They are utilising our usual forms of contact via phone (our Managed Voice service), email and Microsoft Teams. Using cloud technologies, the company is functioning as normal with sales meetings performed using video and audio conferencing.

Technical Services including our out of hours Support, MPS and DRBS

Trident technical teams are more than equipped to perform their usual job functions remotely, including providing installations, maintenance, development days and technical reviews. This work will be delivered through the remote-control element of MPS, VPN access and Remote Desktop Services.  If remote work is not possible, we may still visit a site to carry out work that is safe, necessary and deemed to fall within government guidelines. However, this will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Visiting Trident

Although the Trident offices remain open, we discourage anyone from visiting our premises at this time.

The health and safety of our team, their families, and our clients are the highest priority. We continue to encourage everyone to follow the preventive measures recommended by the UK government and NHS.

Please rest assured that Trident is well positioned and prepared to work together with you through this pandemic.  We ask for your patience and will continue to communicate any updates and other measures we’re taking as the situation progresses.
